Dog Healthy
A UK dog-owner hub: health records, vaccinations, food matching, walks, and NFC/QR tags if a dog is lost.
Overview
Purpose
Give UK dog owners one place for health records, food matching, walks, and recovery if a dog goes missing.
How it works
Owners create dog profiles (breed, photos, microchip). They log medical history, vaccinations with reminders, medications, vet appointments, contacts, and weight charts. A food quiz recommends products by breed, age, diet, and budget with affiliate comparison.
NFC/QR tags encode the DogHealthy profile. A finder or sitter can start a GPS walk, check in/out, or report a lost dog so the owner receives an SMS with contact and location. The service is UK-oriented and free to start.
Architecture
- Nuxt application for owner dashboards and public tag flows
- Supabase/Prisma for profiles and health records
- NFC/QR deep links into dog profiles
- SMS alerts for lost-dog reports
- Affiliate-oriented food recommendation data
What you can do
- Create and manage dog profiles
- Log jabs, meds, weight, and vet details with reminders
- Run a food-matching quiz
- Encode a profile onto an NFC/QR collar tag
- Let a finder start a walk or report a lost dog
- Receive SMS alerts with location context
Data & access
Owner accounts control their dogs’ records. Public tag links expose only the recovery/check-in flows designed for finders — not private medical edit controls.
